PRAYER MOVEMENT

Prayer is the backbone of all mission activities of the ministry and the key tool to fulfill the Great Commission.

PRAYER MOVEMENT

In 2 Peter 3:9 (ESV) we learn that " The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." So as we devout ourservles as missionaries we ought to pray without ceasing. Prayer is the backbone of the mission as it directly connect us with God so that we sincerely do His will as we reach out to more and more people.

Apostle Paul further urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." - 1 Timothy 2:1–4 (ESV)

As Campus Crusade for Christ, we have weekly prayers that is held every Wednesday from 9am to 11am whereby we gather together and pray.

There's also a global prayer meeting that happens twice a year. Also, there's prayer retreat where each component has their own prayer and fasting

Our prayer network in Addis Ababa continues strongly in Yerer, Jakros, Piassa, Qera and Ferensay Legassion areas. After the Global outreach week in May 2018, the prayer department invited 98 believers from all transient evangelism training coordinating centers and gave them a training on prayer and how to proceed with prayer network in all sub-cities of Addis throughout the year for the expansion of the gospel.

  • Our south-west office provided prayer-based training for 258 believers gathered from 11 denominations from the towns of Mizan and Teppi. Additionally, the prayer training was given to three prayer teams named Hope, Faith, and Love. These teams are mainly praying for the expansion of the gospel in the country.
